A Ball Rolling Down Hill

“… Each of us lugs around enough baggage to warrant the name Samsonite. It’s the trait we share with every other human being. Our “stuff” is who we are. Our hopes and fears, faith and doubt, empathy and envy, loves and hatreds and fantasies and habits and prejudices and favorite movies and the way we tie our shoes and whether we like asparagus and on and on and on. That’s us. Human beings. ” ~ Dennis Palumbo

Get out of your own way. You’re the only one holding yourself back. Once you do it, things start falling into place on their own. You see your wishes and goals come to life on their own. Life becomes a ball rolling down hill.

The Lobster

“… And the first step, for me, is doing that, taking that look to gain some perspective.” ~ Jocko Willink

Just like the lobster, we only tend to grow & seek change when things get uncomfortable. Embrace life’s challenges & look for the beauty that comes with them. Life’s most difficult situations are the ones that tend to bring the most wisdom and blessings.

Accept Your Cards

“If you’re a person who is stuck in life: figure out how to not be that person anymore.” ~ David Goggins

You can’t always control which cards life hands you, and sometimes, in certain areas of life, you’ll get a sub-par deck.

Feel your feelings. Then accept your cards and play them strategically – like it’s a board game. This always helps me feel less down about myself.

Create The Gravity Well

The difference between those who take action on creating their dreams and those who don’t is one of two things. One is buying into one of the fears in the 7 areas of life and the other is not being clear on what it is that you would love to do.

You have two choices:

* Work hard, faster than others, and create the gravity well that others fall into. This enables you to lead and others to follow.

* Or; be one of the followers.
