The act of writing has numerous benefits.

Make a habit of writing down the good parts of your day, each day. At least two good things will come of this practice. Reviewing the list you’ll be able to see what you value. And because you’re recording the good you’ll start actively seeking out the positive – and because you’re looking for it you’ll find it.

Some of my family and friends have lived with the struggles that BiPolar Disorder brings. Treat this with the seriousness it deserves.

I am 24 years old and the past two years have been the hardest of my life. Two years ago I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I was in the scariest depressive episode of my life when I had several times I came close to killing myself. If you suffer from depression, or any mental illness, you are not alone. Please seek help, I did and with a lot of hard work & support, I feel I am finally making progress with my health.

You are not weak, as I thought I was, but incredibly strong & resilient because of this. Get through this, & you won’t look back.
